Step 1: Request for quote

Upon receiving your confirmation to move, carton boxes and packing materials will be delivered to your door within 7 days. Depending on the size of your business relocation, packing on your own can take up to several weeks or months.

In order to minimize disruption to your business activities and to ensure a timely move, we provide packing and unpacking services so that you can focus your time on your business activities.

Step 2: Book our service

Upon receiving your confirmation to move, we deliver the boxes and packing materials to your door within 7 days. If you are short of time, hire our packing and unpacking service, where our movers can help you so you won’t have to lift a finger on your items.

We will also provide a clothes rack (on the moving day) where you can conveniently hang your suits and dresses instead of spending unnecessary time folding, packing, unpacking and ironing them!

Step 3: On the moving day

Our on-site supervisor will work closely with our movers to ensure that the team has a common perception of who will do the specific task, how the work will be completed, and when it is expected to be completed. Our movers are equipped with the skills, experience, and equipment required to execute commercial relocation.

In addition, we implement protective measures including shrink wrap, bubble wrap, corrugated paper and/or furniture blanket to protect your boxes and equipment from scratches, gouges or water damage. These items do not only serve as packing materials, but also a surface protective layer and cushioning for your office furniture and equipment. This is especially important since even a little water can damage your equipment and electronic items.

Hazel who received my enquiry was very helpful and nice. She guided me through with the assessment of my move, the number of trucks we may need and explained the pricing matrix. Carton boxes provided are recycled which is my criteria, arrived quickly in great condition.

The move crew were friendly and highly professional. Not only were they well coordinated, they managed the move in high spirit and joy. Always nice to work with a happy crew, probably that explained why the company is called Joy Movers 🙂 Weather was checked, bulky items carefully wrapped, throughout we were well assured that our stuff are in good care.

Only when everything right to the last box was delivered to the correct room, then the crew handed over.

Moved our home 2 weeks ago and I cannot recommend them more for their efficiency and the peace-of-mind.

Initially got in contact with Jenn who asked us to video our home/large items then gave her quotation (based on ½-¾ truck load - turned out accurate!). Even though we spent time checking out other providers who were either more expensive, felt sus, or harder to get in touch with (1 still hasn't replied me), she still gave us ample time to decide. Her team delivered the empty boxes 2 days after confirming, and they were able to accommodate a date change as my new place doesn't allow moving in on Sat afternoons/Sundays.

On moving day, the team leader called me 20mins early to say that they were already here but needed to get lunch first. They arrived on the dot and scooped everything IN 30 MINUTES. I've never shifted a house so quickly before, had over 20 boxes and many bulky items including a baby bassinet. The move was uneventful and they dropped the boxes just as fast. We had relocated in less than 1hr. Impressed with their teamwork and coordination.

After we were done unpacking it took less than a week to collect the boxes. We just left them outside the door as we weren't in, and it was sorted out, no fuss. Even Jenn's after-sales for refund of our deposit was speedy.

Maybe the only thing that worried me slightly was some of the boxes marked fragile were loaded in the middle of the stacks, but nothing was broken - dishes, microwave plate, porcelain figures... I guess that says more about the strength of their boxes than anything else. 5 stars!

Joy Movers tell me they aim to make moving a joy - and I can see they really make the effort to achieve that aim. They have been responsive and responsible throughout the process. Ben, the team member who liaised with me, gave me an estimate that turned out to be spot on, which I appreciated.

I used them for a small job and a large one. In both cases, their teams arrived on time and were quick and efficient in carrying out the job.

The supervisor for the large job was very good. He managed everything smoothly and saved time by wrapping and preparing the items, even very large ones, for transport by himself. This was while waiting for the teams to move the items to their storage. He was attentive and detailed when wrapping up all the items and took note of any existing dinks and scratches.

My things are now in storage with them, and they will need to move my items back. I will add further to the review when the move back is completed. But so far, so good!
